"Hello, my name is Natividad or Nati for short. I am from the Northern part of Spain, which is a lot like NZ in many ways. In 2011 I fell in love with NZ during the RWC and in 2013 I came to live in CHCH.
My path to becoming a qualify Reiki Master and instructor began many years ago and I undertook my professional training on the Grand Canaria Islands studying under La Alianza Española de Reiki were I gained my diplomas and staring helping people around the world with my style of Reiki as a complementary therapy. Many of my clients are surprised to awake from a deep slumber and after the experience comment on having improved energy levels and a feeling of improved wellbeing.
I offer a professional and confidential experience tailored to individual needs in a peaceful inviting home clinic.
Although I am a very logical and rational person, the fact of having to recognize, obviously, that besides matter we are energy, that led me to try to understand how to care for and to improve this energy the same we care for our body and mind.
This way I discovered Reiki and this surprised so much: the very good, amazing and multiples benefits for our wellness. It is something you can’t understand if you don’t enjoy it on yourself.
I am Reiki Master and Master Instructor and I would like to make people to understand that Reiki is so important for health and wellness to balance body and mind."
Bali is one of the 17,508 islands that make up the Indonesian archipelago. For thousands of years this island was a stop for ships traveling from India, China and Thailand, so Balinese massage developed from various sources and traditions, from medicine and Indian Ayurvedic texts, to different skills and knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Of these islands, Bali is the only one which still preserved intact roots and Buddhist and Hindu traditions, and where people are still deeply rooted to their traditions.
This island is where different peoples and cultures have left their legacy of traditional medicine throughout history, especially knowledge of herbal medicine, anatomy and traditional manual techniques to care for your body and mind.
The most important sources have been traditional Indian Ayurvedic medicine and traditional Chinese medicine. Bali already had its own system of traditional medicine, called Jamu, used to make people feel more beautiful and healthy, both internally and externally.
There is a Balinese tradition which says that it was Goddess Lakshmi, from the Indian mythology, the Beauty Goddess with four arms, who conveyed to the people of Bali prior knowledge and techniques about the Balinese massage.
