What We Like
Ah, reality TV - an endless wonderland of entertainment. The lines between the shows are getting a bit blurred, though. My theory is that there'll eventually only be one show: Strictly Come Extreme Dining with The Biggest Bachelor, in which a single man on a desert island must cook a gourmet meal while performing a foxtrot on a treadmill for Paula Abdul.

Inspired by shows like The Biggest Loser, Next Level Fitness is offering Hamilton residents the opportunity to participate in a local competition to look and feel their best. With their 6 week Slim Down Weight Loss Challenge, you'll get 3 personal training sessions each week, where you'll receive tailored programming for your body type and for your specific needs and goals. You'll also receive cutting edge information on training and nutrition, learn exercise safety and injury prevention, and advance past plateaus thanks to their professional guidance and expertise.
There will be a progression of routines to keep your workouts fresh and interesting, designed for you and your lifestyle. You'll be set up with detailed easy-to-follow eating guidelines, designed to help you lose excess fat and improve muscle tone. There'll be weekly progress checks and weigh in sessions to help keep you on track. And on top of all this, you'll get full use of the training studio outside of your sessions for the entire six weeks!

Challenge starts Saturday April 16 at the Kick Off Event - competitors should plan to to do their final weigh-in on Saturday 28 May, exactly 6 weeks after start of challenge (weigh-ins after this date are permitted but will not be eligible for prizes)
Participants must be 18 or over
Not valid for current clients or those who have participated in this challenge in the last 12 months
The participant who loses the greatest percentage of body weight during the 6 week challenge will win $500 to spend in-store; 2nd place will win $300 to spend in-store; 3rd place will win $150 to spend in-store
Any participant who loses 10% or more of their body weight during the 6 week challenge will qualify to win $100 to spend towards a training package
Prizes must only be spent in one store of winners' choice and cannot be redeemed for cash
This contest in no way is meant to encourage unhealthy eating habits. Participants are discouraged from crash dieting, dehydrating themselves in an effort to lose weight and any other health practice that is contraindicated by their doctor
